3 Types of Glass Art:

  1. Hot Glass- This is created by heasting glass to 2000 degrees or hotter. The glass is a molten product that is gatheres from a furance onto a long stick where you can make sculptures, vases, and other items.

  1. Warm Glass- This is created by heating glass to a tempature between 1200 - 1600 degrees in a kiln. Also known as kiln formed glass. Plates, tiles, and sheets are items created with warm glass.

  1. Slumping & Fusing
Glass slumping
  1. Cold Glass- This method dose not require glass to be heated. Glass can be cut, engraved, foiled, and grinded. The glass is soldered together to hold the pieces in place.
